5KAS series

The 5-line cascadeable system distributes up to 4 SAT-IFpolarisations and the complete terrestrial frequencies to multiple subscribers.

In case of high signal-level from the LNC and short distance from the dish to the multiswitch, a multiswitch with power supply (KAS 5x6/8 K) can be used as head component. Due to the low through-loss and the low distribution loss small systems mostly work without any additional amplifier.

The SAT-IF in-and outputs are DC-coupled. Out of this reason the multiswitch wich supplies the LNC can be installed at any place within the system. This opens up a variety of system confi gurations. The level can be increased within the trunk line by using a line amplifier. There is a permanent supply of the terrestrial signal even when all receivers are switched off.
